What are your 2016 goals you hope to accomplish? Don’t be a statistic in 2016! Too many people make New Years resolutions and fall off the wagon within the first 3 weeks…Write down some goals for yourselves this New Year and put your plans into action! Goal setting must be realistic and achievable in order to make progress, so be sure to set realistic, specific goals that will help bring you all some success this new year. It is easy to make excuses about finding time to get to the gym, be active, going on vacation, eating correctly, so in order to avoid chaos, use positive reinforcement to assist in reaching your goal. Ex. If your craving that cheat meal on a Monday after a weekend, make sure you get to the gym 3-4 times that week to earn that cheat meal! That way you’ve earned it and, get a small reward at the end of the week! On behalf of the Jr. Pirates, we wish everyone a safe and prosperous 2016!
